Roadside is a musical based on a play by Lynn Riggs, whose Green Grow the Lilacs became Oklahoma! It is a Southwestern love story

about two kissin', punchin', cussin', larger-than-life characters who refuse to settle down and be "house-broke" by the arrival of

fences and laws. Originally premiering at the York in 2001, this cast includes Ryan Alexander, Erick Devine, Janine DiVita,

Jamie LaVerdiere,  Daniel C. Levine, Ed Watts and Nick Wyman. It features book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt

and is directed by David Glenn Armstrong with music direction by Christopher McGovern.
