It is with deep regret that I report a music legend has died. Davy Jones, a Tony Award nominee and talented singer who is best loved from The Monkees and The Brady Bunch has died at the young age of 66.

In 2008 he had a solo concert and I was invited to interview him before the show. He was very kind and very funny and it was a giant honor to interview him.

This interview was shot before we had HD camcorders so excuse the quality. It was a great honor to meet Davy Jones. I did the interview in a cast and had a walker at the interview as I had broken my ankle. Mr Jones will always be one of my favorite interviews. Rest in peace, Mr Jones. I will always be a believer when I saw your face.

NEW YORK, NY – October 23, 2012 -- The DigiNext In-Venue Film Festival announced today the theatrical release of The Standbys. This evocative and original behind-the-scenes documentary offers a look at the unique and challenging lives of Broadway’s Understudies and Standbys. The Standbys, Produced and Directed by Stephanie Riggs and Executive Producers John C. Pinckard, Lily Fan, and Steven C. Beer, is set to debut in theatres on December 7. A joint venture between Digital Cinema Destinations Corp.
